Learn and Stay Golf Holidays
This is a unique opportunity to improve your golf while on holiday in West Cork with one of Europe’s most experienced and creative coaches. Sarah has been organising and teaching on golf holidays for over 20 years. Sarah will find out what specifically you want to improve in your game and ‘design’ a bespoke package to help you successfully achieve your goals.
As well as designing your golf package Sarah can also help you find accommodation in the area.
Sarah has her own accommodation, Red Roof Lodge that sleeps two, located 5 mins from Skibbereen Golf Club, which has been awarded a 9.7 Travellers Review Award for 2021 on www.booking.com For larger groups Sarah also has the use of 2 other beautiful holiday homes within a 5 minute drive of Red Roof Lodge overlooking the spectacular Lough Hyne Nature Reserve. ( Note: It is recommended to book the dates you require months in advance as accommodation in the local area gets booked up early)
As you are on holiday, Sarah would plan either 2 days of coaching over a 4 day trip or a 4 days of coaching over a 7 day trip to give you the chance to experience other parts of gorgeous West Cork during your stay.
SAMPLE 2-day coaching package – 4 Day Trip
All packages would be flexible to accommodate your needs as you learn so be mindful that this is only an example.
Sarah will also advise you on travel arrangements and other fun tourism things to do in the area during your stay.
Group sizes can be accommodated for coaching and accommodation from 1 to 12 people.
There is walking, kayaking, sea safari’s, whale watching, festivals, music and of course food to experience. Go to www.baltimore.ie to see more on whats on!
RED ROOF LODGE
Red Roof Lodge is a little piece of loveliness, nestled on the slopes behind Lough Hyne Hill. It has its own private garden and seating area that is peaceful and tranquil. The recently renovated lodge has a cosy interior.
It really is a retreat from the hustle and bustle of busy life, located half-way between the lively market town of Skibbereen and the trendy but traditional village of Baltimore. It’s 4 minutes in the car (25 mins on foot) from the beautiful Lough Hyne Marine Nature Reserve, where you can take on the challenge of walking up Lough Hyne Hill with the breath-taking reward of stunning views at the top or you can chose to stroll along the lough side in your own time.
Baltimore is known for its local foods, music, culture and sailing experiences, with its lively festivals taking place between April and October. Its landmark Beacon is worth the short climb to view the Wild Atlantic Ocean and expand the eyes to take in a handful of the 100 Carbery Isles that extend along the coast.
Once Sarah has had an initial phone conversation with you to understand your golfing and accommodation requirements and your budget Sarah will design a package for you and email it to you with the total cost included.
