Sarah is a ‘go the extra mile’ person. Over 10 years we have developed a highly productive working relationship which is based on Sarah’s attention to detail, diligence and desire to do the job well, marking her out as one of the premier golf consultants in the industry. She has unrivalled knowledge of the golfing landscape and uses this to great effect to maximise her impact. One of Sarah’s greatest attributes is her ability to build and maintain relationships, she has a non-confrontational and easy going style that makes her very easy to work with and to talk to. This is a real strength in her mentoring and presenting where she is able to establish trust and rapport very quickly and easily.
Sarah ran a ‘Learn Golf in a Day’ for FAB – Females Achieving Brilliance members and every single woman went away inspired and committed to taking up golf. But this day was more than just learning about golf as FAB works with women to help build their confidence and competence at work and the session led by Sarah left them with valuable learning about goal setting and action planning as a legacy. Sarah’s creativity, innovation, philosophy and sense of fun fits perfectly with our approach to personal development and we would recommend her highly to anyone.
Since starting consultancy with Sarah over the last two years, our shop turnover has increased to levels I never thought possible with ideas and strategies that I had never imagined but Sarah saw from seeing my business from different angles, rebranding me and new fresh ideas and approaches. New coaching programs and changing the way I sell lessons has seen a huge increase in lesson sales that I thought weren’t available. Monthly mentoring gives me targets to work to and gentle reminders on what I need to be doing. Thank you Sarah.
Over the last four years I have been part of The PGAs of Europe Golf Development Pool, which is a specially selected group of professionals, each possessing a unique blend of skills and knowledge. Director of Education for The PGAs of Europe, Tony Bennett said, “As a valued member of our development pool, we have deployed Sarah on several occasions, principally in our work with The R&A working for the Golf Programme and have been very happy with her contribution”.
Sarah organised a very successful golf day for women to raise funds for the Anita White Foundation, at Goodwood in the spring of 2014. She did a marvellous job of pulling together all the interested parties: women golf professionals and those with varying degrees of experience including complete beginners who “learned golf in a day.” As well as exceeding our fundraising target by over 100%, all the women who participated in “Golf with a Difference” had a great experience and learned a lot not only about golf but also about themselves. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah to you – she is an excellent organiser and facilitator and a joy to work with.”
Working with Sarah on the development of my motivational presentation has been great, not only was her advice on the content valuable, she has the vision and feeling of the key messages required to inspire and motivate the learner.
Sarah has a unique skill set in that she is highly creative as well as detail orientated and thorough, an extremely powerful and valuable combination that will make a huge impact in any business. She was instrumental in writing a national coaching programme for England Golf that will have an impact on the golfing landscape for young people for many years to come.
